Starting August 1, 2023, all new applicants for water service connection will be required to pay a “Guarantee Deposit” that is twice (2x) the amount of the minimum charge (1st ten (10) cubic meters) based on the classification of connection and size of the water meter. This is to prevent further increase of the CWD’s Accounts Receivable.

According to CWD Board Resolution No. 023-2023 dated June 27, 2023, entitled Policy on Guarantee Deposit, the Carmona Water District will implement the policy for the collection of guarantee deposit to all new service connections effective thirty (30) days after posting a copy of the board resolution in CWD Bulletin Boards, website and social media accounts.

The Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) for the Guarantee Deposit will be posted before the effectivity of this policy.
