CARMONA WATER DISTRICT CONDUCTS TRAINING ON CYBERSECURITY AWARENESS-BUILDING
Section 24, Article II of the Constitution recognizes the vital roles of communication and information in nation-building and under Executive Order No. 58, s. 2024, adopting the National Cybersecurity Plan 2023-2028, directing all national government agencies and instrumentalities, including government-owned or controlled corporations, one of the programs of CWD is to equip its CWD Computer Emergency Response Team-PH (CWD CERT-PH) and its management with proper technical knowledge to handle cybersecurity challenges, in collaboration with Engr. Francis P. Gubangco, Information Technology Officer I, and Mr. Kris Rodzen G. Delos Santos, Information Systems Researcher/ISC2, our technical expert partners from the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), the Training on Cybersecurity Awareness Building was successfully conducted.
Engr. Aniline B. Francia, General Manager B, the Division Heads, CERT-PH, and other key personnel thanked the DICT for the insightful training. This will help Carmona Water District strengthen its cybersecurity to protect the agency’s digital information and to ensure continuous quality public service.
