Once again, CWD has been given “UNMODIFIED AUDIT OPINION” by the Commission on Audit based on their Annual Audit Report (AAR) for the year ended December 31, 2023. The COA’s Financial and Compliance Audit FY 2023 was conducted from March 8-April 15, 2024.

The agency is truly proud and honored to have achieved this another accomplishment which was led by General Manager Engr. Aniline B. Francia, together with the Board of Directors, Division Heads, and all of its dedicated employees. Furthermore, this admirable audit result represents the agency’s strong commitment, transparency, and integrity toward a well-prepared and honest presentation of its financial statements in accordance with the financial reporting framework set by the commission. CWD will continue its path towards a righteous and truthful public service.

An unmodified/Unqualified Opinion is the highest audit opinion that can be given to a government agency when its financial statements are free from substantial misstatements that could arise from error or fraud.
